all the staff were friendly the hotel was spotless and comfortable. just across the bridge you are into the city center lots of restaurants around but the hotel has food on too.
parking is difficult as there is a limited amount of spaces in the car park. The road outside was being dug up (but the hotel can do nothing about that)

Reception staff were always on hand - very friendly, approachable and attentive.
I did complain about my steak in the restaurant. I asked for it Medium - it came Medium/Rare - however, I said that I would keep it, as I prefer meat more this way than overdone. However, they forgot the mushrooms, which they brought. I could not finish the steak, as there was substantial fat and I could not even cut through it with the steak knife. I did complain about this and the waiter referred it to his Manager. The Manager did not come over at all and refused to remove the meal from the bill. I confirmed to the waiter that I would voice my concerns here. We stayed at your Heathrow site a few weeks ago - my daughter had the steak then and it was perfect.

We stayed in a spacious quadruple room with great views of the river and castle. The room had temperature control and ample space for our luggage. It was only a short walk, about 5 or 10 minutes, to both the train and bus stations. The powerful shower had a steady temperature. The hotel's location right on the river was very pleasant, and it was so close to the city centre.
Nothing, everything was great!

Being near city centre
Every morning at seven oclock the heatiig to the room was turned off and replacec by a gush of very cold air, this lasted for about 30 minutes No matter how you tried you could not manually stop the flow of freezing air until about seven thirty.. I think this was a get out of bed and out of the room message

The breakfast was great and the staff who served the breakfast were polite and good at there job.
The attitude of the duty manager was a disgrace, when we checked in we were given a disabled room with twin beds which we didn't ask for, we asked for a normal double room. When we asked to move we were told no other rooms were availlable and we was told it was our fault for booking a disabled room and she had had trouble with bookings.com, ive been using you for two years and never had any problems with you, We have put a complaint in about the duty manager and have been given a full refund.

We had a great time at this hotel, as it is perfectly located right on the banks of the beautiful river. the room was clean and decent sized, and the staff were friendly and polite. the restaurant and bar were cozy and comfortable. Plus, it was just a short walk across the bridge to the main part of town, with plenty of shops and restaurants. We also loved the fact that it was close to the nightlife and had a stunning view of the river.
There was no car park available, forcing us to drop off our bags before finding parking near the cathedral.

Great location and reasonable price. We didn't notice when we booked that you had to pay extra for breakfast, so we spoke to the manager and we managed to get a "free" breakfast. Because we didn't arrive too late (were arrived before 6pm) we manged to get a car park in the hotel car park. Had an elevator which was great.
We didn't like the idea of having to park a car off-site but fortunately we got a car park.
